**Full-Time Position: Manager of Content Strategy**

**Position Summary**
We are seeking a friendly and professional Manager of Content Strategy to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing a comprehensive content marketing strategy that drives awareness, engagement, lead generation, and customer retention. You will oversee content strategy, planning, creation, and distribution, positioning our company as a leader in restaurant technology.
This position requires strategic thinking, content marketing expertise, and hands-on execution skills. You will also manage a small team of internal and external contributors. Strong writing, visual content creation, storytelling, and project management skills are essential. **Essential Responsibilities and Duties**
1. **Content Strategy & Vision**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals, customer needs, and market trends.
- Define the content roadmap to support demand generation, product marketing, customer education, and brand positioning.
- Establish and maintain editorial guidelines, messaging frameworks, and tone of voice for consistency across all channels.
2. **Content Creation & Optimization**
- Oversee the production of high-quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, case studies, videos, webinars, podcasts, and email campaigns.
- Optimize content for SEO, conversion, and engagement using data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with product marketing to create thought leadership content that showcases expertise and differentiates our brand.
3. **Demand Generation & Lead Nurturing**
- Partner with growth marketing, demand generation, and sales teams to create content that fuels the sales funnel.
- Develop content for inbound marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), and email nurture campaigns.
- Leverage content personalization and segmentation to engage specific buyer personas at different stages of their journey.
4. **Customer Education & Retention**
- Work closely with the Customer Lifecycle Manager to create educational content that accelerates customer engagement and product adoption.
- Consult on the development of guides, tutorials, and webinars for onboarding and ongoing education.
- Support customer storytelling initiatives, such as case studies and testimonials, to showcase success.
5. **Team Leadership & Collaboration**
- Manage a team of consultants and agency partners, including writers, designers, filmmakers, and freelancers.
- Collaborate with product marketing, brand, demand generation, sales, and customer success teams to align content efforts across departments.
- Create and consult on content to support key marketing campaigns, product launches, and industry events.
6. **Performance Measurement & Optimization**
- Define and track KPIs for content performance, such as traffic, engagement, lead conversion, and revenue impact.
- Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce) to measure content effectiveness and optimize based on insights.
- Experiment with AI, automation, and content distribution to scale efforts efficiently.
7. **Industry & Competitive Research**
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor content strategies, and emerging content formats.
- Identify opportunities for original research, reports, and unique thought leadership.
- Establish partnerships with influencers, analysts, and industry experts to amplify content reach.
**Ideal Candidate Qualifications**
- 7+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS, tech, or restaurant technology.
- Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive business impact.
- Experience managing multi-channel content creation, including blogs, social media, video, and long-form assets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing writers, designers, agencies, and freelancers.
- Expertise in SEO, demand generation, and inbound marketing.
- Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
- Experience with marketing automation, CMS, and analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics).
- Performance-driven with the ability to analyze content performance and optimize for ROI.
- Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple initiatives with tight deadlines.
- Flexible work style, able to adapt to change easily with a positive attitude.
- High emotional intelligence with a collaborative style and strong communication skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Background in restaurant tech, hospitality, or foodservice marketing.
- Experience leading video production and customer storytelling initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI and automation in marketing.
