Business Development Representative

Description:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at ClearlyRated, you will fuel our top-of-funnel sales initiatives by setting qualified appointments for our account executives to close. This role offers the opportunity to move into a full cycle closing role in the future, contingent on success. You'll be provided with a clearly defined career ladder process from day one. Target markets include Mid-Market to Enterprise Staffing, Accounting, and Legal firms (50 to 2,000 employees), as well as industries like Construction, Insurance, IT, HR Services, and others.\r\rThe role reports to the VP of Sales currently and may report to a Manager of Business Development by Q1 of 2025. The company operates with a startup mindset amidst rapid growth and evolving processes. Ideal candidates have a track record of sales development or relevant field success, are growth-minded, curious, persistent, and ready to help shape the company's next phase.

Requirements:

BDR or in a related field. Cold outbound experience is required. Must be growth-minded, coachable, curious, and eager to learn. Should be flexible and open to change, suitable for a startup environment where priorities may shift. Entrepreneurial mindset and readiness for autonomy are essential. As a front-line sales member, you will influence the company's direction.\r\r1 or more years of experience as a successful SDR.
